Hey all! I figured this time I would have a more personal approach to this post and share with you what's been happening lately. Some of you have asked my why have there been a lack of posts for the past few weeks and I have very good reasons for it. Here's a quick update on what I've been doing lately :)
Electric Daisy Carnival, also known as EDC originated from Los Angeles and has made its way around the USA and here to London in 2013. Being its 3rd year running in London, I have heard many great reviews about it and have seen some amazing footage of it. Thus, I decided to be part of the crowd this year especially since there were a few of my favourite artists performing (mostly because this was one of the last tour Avicii was doing).
I've never been to a music festival here in UK before and I must say this was a great first experience! Courtesy of Three & Samsung, I was invited to House Festival 2016 to experience this day of fun, food and music! Three is having an offer for the Samsung Galaxy S7. Find out more details here. There will be 2 parts to this post, one about the festival and the other about the phone I used to take these pictures :)
I was walking along Oxford Street the other day and stumbled across this event. Carnaby Street along with GQ Magazine held a Style Night on the 5th of May from 6pm-9pm whereby all participating stores in and around Carnaby Street were offering a 20% discount. YAY! There were a range of activities that went on and each individual store and restaurant added their own touch to make customers feel welcome.
At the first sound of a cake fair got me all hyped up and who could turn down a cake fair? Not me! Although I was a little bit disappointed that there wasn't any cake being served or sold because WHO DOESN'T SELL CAKE AT A CAKE FAIR!? But I was honestly blown away by the amount of talent there was! Imagine pretty wedding cakes at a whole new level! Cakes were being made and almost "sculpted" into different forms and stories, some even life-sized. This year's Cake International Fair was held in Alexandra Palace, London for 2 days- 16th & 17th April.
